For our training session this Sunday 19th February we have Ben Marshall coming to coach us!

Ben currently coaches at Devonport Swim Club. He has been a competitive swimmer from an early age, specialising in the 100m freestyle. Since then he has taken on triathlons, ocean swims and long distance events. Ben has over 10 years experience coaching, teaching, lifeguarding and he still enjoys swimming himself. He regularly takes part in Devonport Swim Club’s “Round North Head Classic” (winner of the nude event!) and “The Cheltenham Swim”. He is also a regular at the Takapuna State Beach Series and the other State Ocean Swims across the country (including the Auckland Harbour Crossing and The King of the Bays). As a coach, Ben is very goal-focused.

Jamie Sutcliffe is going to be assisting Ben and we look forward to having both of them poolside.
