Showing us what Masters swimmers is all about (friendship) a large number of swimmers turned out for the first Memorial swim for one of the true gentlemen of swimming, Barry Young. 

After Ian Gunthorp did his debrief the swimmers set off for the swim to the cable buoys. On return they were welcomed with coffee and chocolate cake (and somewhat better weather).

It was lovely to catch up with Chris, Veronica and Suzanne and share special memories as well as catch up with friends.

Gone but never forgotten . . . . miss you Barry. xo
