Time to Break Those Bad Habits
23 October, 2016
We all do something at training that we shouldn't, however if you continue to do it then it becomes a bad habit. Here is a reminder of what we should and should not be doing in training and why.
Six bad swim practice habits that are common in swimmers are:
- Lazy Turns
- Beach-ball Streamlines
- Letting Technique Get Sloppy
- Pulling into the Wall on Kick Sets
- Picking Your Head up at the Finish
- Gliding in the Wall at the Finish
And they need to be broken - now!
We all know we shouldn't do them, however sometimes it just happens. And we tell ourselves we won't do it next time . . . . however how many times do you do it again and again and again. And then guess what - you have now formed a bad habit!
It's time to break those bad habits.
