Time to Break Those Bad Habits

23 October, 2016

We all do something at training that we shouldn't, however if you continue to do it then it becomes a bad habit. Here is a reminder of what we should and should not be doing in training and why.

Six bad swim practice habits that are common in swimmers are:
  1. Lazy Turns
  2. Beach-ball Streamlines
  3. Letting Technique Get Sloppy
  4. Pulling into the Wall on Kick Sets
  5. Picking Your Head up at the Finish
  6. Gliding in the Wall at the Finish
And they need to be broken - now!

We all know we shouldn't do them, however sometimes it just happens. And we tell ourselves we won't do it next time . . . . however how many times do you do it again and again and again. And then guess what - you have now formed a bad habit!

It's time to break those bad habits.
